We are federally required to verify the age of all of our customers. This needs to be done with every transaction. You don’t need to enter this information with every product. You can ignore it until you’re ready to check out.
The information you enter for the age verification step must match the information that’s on a government-issued ID or government records (driver’s license, state issued ID card, passport, tax records, etc.)
We cannot by-pass this step.
If you’re having some difficulties with the age verification step, we have some tips.
- For the zip code, enter the zip code that’s listed on your driver’s license or another government-issued ID. If that doesn’t work, you may need to try an older zip code. Some people need to use a zip code that’s a decade or more old. It is a live verification from a national company that verifies you against your own public records. Make sure you are putting in just your first and last name like it would appear on a Driver's license. (no middle initials) Then put in your birth date and make sure you include all 4 numbers for the year. 01/01/19??
- If that doesn't work then it must be a computer browser issue. Is your browser up to date? You may need to do an update. If you are using Internet Explorer then try a different browser. (Chrome or Firefox work well) IE doesn't play well with many websites. Microsoft doesn't support many of the older versions. You might need to clear your cache and cookies on your browser. The verification process is handled by Integrity, a division of Aristotle International. They handle age verification for companies around the world.
